Apr 25, 2026 Trash Attack! Event and Poster Contest
Saturday 9AM-Noon
Aviation Park, 103 Veterans Drive
Trash Attack! is a community clean-up event, where volunteers head out across Town to "attack" the trash: beach, soundside, or anywhere in between. The event will kick-off at Aviation Park, where participants will receive gloves, grabbers, and trash bags.

Feb 21, 2026 Big Beach & Island Cleanup
Location: Beaches from Duck to Buxton, Roanoke Island, and Wanchese - you choose where you want to help!
Saturday 9:30AM-1:00PM
This regional cleanup is part of the Outer Banks’ Thrive Month efforts to keep our beaches healthy, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone. Volunteers are asked to register in advance so event organizers can ensure all beach accesses are covered.
